Advanced Smartphone Photography Tips and Techniques
Presentation Description
Using Mark's many travel photographs as example images, Mark's presentation will help you create iPhone or Android photos to a far greater level. Using only sample images from various Android makes and models, and iPhone versions, this presentation helps with both the technical and artistic sides of photography. A lot of the presentation content will also be helpful to DSLR and mirrorless users, so please consider attending even if you don't have a direct interest in mobile photography. Mark will introduce sample images from Japan, Mexico, Latvia, the Caribbean, Spain, Italy, Greece, Thailand, Jordan, Ireland and Rome.
Bio:
Mark Hemmings is a professional photographer who began his career in the late 1990′s when working on feature films and movies as a 'stills' and location photographer. His work broadened to include international travel photography jobs which had him photographing in Asia and Eastern Europe. In 1999 Mark moved to Japan for a year to learn advertising photography, and that year proved pivotal in shaping his lighting style and how he approaches photography within the context of advertising. In 2004 he developed his skills as a photography workshop instructor, teaching people how to create better photographs in such diverse places as England, Jordan, Israel, South Korea, Greece, Ireland, the Caribbean, Hungary, and Romania/Transylvania. Mark’s current photo workshops include Italy, Japan, Mexico and Spain. In total, Mark has work on 87 international photo trips since 2004. Mark is also an author, having written “iPhone Photography For Dummies” and "Android Smartphone Photography For Dummies". Mark's website is www.markhemmings.com and his Instagram is @markhemming
